SBA: The Road to a Championship Begins
(2) Long Island (50 - 18) Vs (3) Charlotte (41 - 26)
LI won season series 4-0
Although Charlotte has lost the season series 4-0 I have a feeling that this will be a competitive series. In this series I think the starting lineups match-up pretty evenly. Charlotte's bench needs to play well if they are going to win the series. that is definitely their strength.
Rookie D-rose on Charlotte needs to play better off the bench if his team is to succeed. you can't shoot 42% off the bench if you want to help the team.
Ultimately, Powers, Koser and Long Island will be to strong. I think Coach Rupp of Long Island has figured things out as of late, and home-field advantage will likely kill Charlotte.

(2)Seattle (57 - 18) vs (3)Las Vegas (48 - 19)
Seattle won the series 3-1
This will definitely be a fun matchup a great offense in Las Vegas vs Seattle a great defensive team. This series will come down to whether or not Vegas' starting roster can score on Seattle's roster. Bench play will be important as well, but watching these starting rosters will be well-worth the admission price.
Seattle is the exact opposite of Vegas. Seattle is a defensive team, who probably has the most balanced team in the league. Anyone can score 30 points for them and you don't know who it is.
Vegas on the other hand is really top heavy on their roster. There bench isn't necessarily weak, but not as strong as Seattle's. they are lead by Storm Chaser and DD squared (Devil Dog, and Devil Dancer).

(2) Indiana 41 - 27 Vs (3) Philadelphia 31 - 36
Season series tied 2-2
This is a match-up about two second-half teams. Both went over .500 in the second half. the Obvious choice here is Indiana, but Philadelphia can win this. what people don't realize without doing research is that Dan Todd is one of the most talented players in the league. He had a better 2nd half with a new coach which makes a huge difference on performance. Indiana on the other hand was also disappointing in the first half. Some were calling for the firing of Coach McCoy in Indiana. A good second half alleviated most of the tension though. Indiana is a beautiful state that has already won one SBA title. their fans expect nothing, but wins and so does their owner and GM Art.
Indiana's Michael Westen has been their best player. Armored Corps has to play well in the series for Indiana to win. shooting 43% won't get it done.
I fully expect Dan Todd to dominate on both ends of the floor, but I don't believe in the rest of the Philadelphia team as much.
In the end expect a lot of high scoring games from these teams, and a fight from Philadelphia.

(2) Kentucky 54 - 14 vs (3) San Antonio 29 - 40
San Antonio fresh off winning a championship is back in the playoffs, even though no one thought they had a chance. Kind of like in this series. Kentucky Has had a great season and is coached by one of the best coaches in the game today. this isn't even an up-hill battle for San Antonio, it is more like trying to walk up a hill that is on 90 degree angle.
In the end Kentucky's star players Dan Issel, Lou Dampier, and superstar Magic Johnson are just way to strong for San Antonio
